Governor Apologizes For Comments About Teachers

Governor Matt Bevin is apologizing for comments he made concerning teachers that chose to come to Frankfort Friday to protest against proposed education cuts. In a statement released Sunday afternoon on social media, Governor Bevin said his statements Friday concerning the safety of children were inappropriate.
