Junior Jacob Mitchell struck out nine in picking up the pitching win against Trigg County Friday.
Hopkinsville put together a pair of big innings that backed the pitching of Jacob Mitchell in a 7-1 win over Trigg County Friday in Cadiz. 
Trigg County split their first two games of the Lady Cat Invitational Friday at the Complex. The Lady Wildcats beat Murray 12-0 in the opener but fell to McLean County 3-1 in the nightcap.
