Lions Club To Host Stick Horse Races

Lions Club members have a little "horsing around" to do as the organziation celebrates 100 years. Marsha Pater with the Cadiz Lions Club says they're doing something special to celebrate the anniversary. They're inviting the community to join them Friday night for stick horse races.

The Lions Club includes volunteers who serve humanitarian needs within their communities. Services include eyesight, health, eradicating hunger, disaster relief and more. Pater says they'll share information about the Lions with anyone who's interested.

The races will be Friday, February 17, at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center in Cadiz. Doors open at 5:00 pm, followed by the races at 6:00 pm.
