Attorneys Question Jailing Of Bank Robbery Suspect

Attorneys say they are confused by the recent return to jail of the woman accused of robbing United Southern Bank in August. Starlit Lamb appeared in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning on charges connected to the robbery. Her attorney Jonathan Cochran says he did not learn until Tuesday night, through media reports, she had been taken back into custody.

Christian Circuit Judge John Atkins says her mother did contact the Circuit Clerk’s office and asked to be removed as the bond holder.

A pretrial conference was scheduled for February 22. Lamb reportedly entered the United Southern Bank branch on East 9th Street August 12, demanded money, and told the clerk she had a bomb, but fled before receiving any crash.
