UPDATE - Hardee's Armed Robbery Suspects Arraigned

Three Hopkinsville men, including two employees, were arraigned Thursday morning in Christian District Court for the February 2nd armed robbery at Hardee's, on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Hopkinsville Police say 18-year old Nigel Couvertier, 45-year old Antonio Brunson, and 28-year old Jeffery Davis were arrested late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. All three entered not guilty pleas during their arraigment Thursday morning.
Police say Couvertier was identified as the suspect who shot out the glass on a side door and then held up an employee at gunpoint. The arrest citation says investigators found items related to the robbery in the trash behind his residence. Couvertier, who was employed at Hardee's as a cook, has been charged with 1st Degree Robbery and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Antonio Brunson

Through their investigation, police determined that Brunson was the person who provided Couvertier with the handgun that was used in the commission of the robbery, and was the person who picked Couvertier up in the parking lot after the incident. He has been charged with 1st Degree Robbery and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.

Jeffery Davis

As for Davis' involvement in the crime, police say Davis, who was employed as a night manager at Hardee's, allegedly assisted in the planning and the execution of the robbery. He has been charged with 1st Degree Robbery.

All three are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Februry 24.
