Cadiz Street Closure And Parking For Ham Festival

Due to the Trigg County Country Ham Festival, traffic in downtown Cadiz will be rerouted due to some street closures. Cadiz Police Chief Chad Grace says some streets closed at mid-afternoon Thursday.

Public Works Director Kerry Fowler says they will have shuttle buses available.

He notes the shuttle buses are also wheelchair accessible.

One of the biggest problems the police department faces, according to Chief Grace, is parking.

Chief Grace says the National Guard will be helping with traffic control.

He is also reminding festival goers pets are not allowed.

Fowler says everyone works hard to make the Ham Festival a great event for visitors and the community.

So three things to remember, the streets in downtown closed at 2:00 this afternoon, do pets are allowed, and be mindful when attending the Ham Festival of where you park.
