Search Warrant Leads To Three Meth Trafficking Arrests

Three Hopkinsville residents are facing drug trafficking charges after police executed a search warrant at a home on South Virginia Street over the weekend. Hopkinsville Police report officers served the warrant at a residence in the 1700 block around 5:15p Sunday afternoon where they found several small plastic bags with a crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine on a bed, along with $4,100 in cash in multiple plastic baggies with white residue, meth pipes, and a small container with marijuana seeds. Police say the $100 bills were counterfeit.

Police arrested 29-year old Jamie Beising, 54-year old Vangela Parrish, and 59-year old Gordon Parrish. The threes subjects were lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Less Than 2 Grams of Meth), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Beising was also charged with Possession of Marijuana and 1st Degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. Vangela and Gordon Parrish are facing additional charges of 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Opiates).
