The Trigg County Senior Citizens Center was presented with a donation from Cadiz City Council Friday morning.
Center Director Cissy Lawrence tells the News Edge the money is needed to keep the center under normal operations after nearly $50,000 in budget cuts.

The $5,000 donation was presented at Cadiz City Hall. City council members unanimously voted to give the money to the center during Tuesday evening’s meeting.
