Farm Service Agency Director Discusses Limited Services

Kentucky Farm Service Agency Director Brian Lacefield says offices around the state will be offering limited services Friday and Tuesday to allow some critical business issues to be taken care of.

Lacefield says the staff will be in to handle some paperwork that could be holding up farmers.

Lacefield notes this will help farmers to move forward with wrapping up 2018.

He adds this also allows other paperwork to be completed.

Lacefield says the Market Facilitation Program signups will not be taken during the limited days of operation. He says signup for that program will begin when the offices reopen following the government shutdown.
