The ribbon was cut at a new public restroom located inside the former Sudden Service Station in downtown Hopkinsville.
Mayor Carter Hendricks says the restrooms are the first step in revitalizing the property at the corner of East 9th and South Campbell Street.
Downtown Renaissance Director Holly Boggess adds the project has been a long time coming.
