The American Heart Association hosted their annual Christian County Heart Walk Saturday morning and are now halfway toward their $50,000 goal.

She adds donations can be made online for the next sixty days.
During the event held at the Western Kentucky State Fairgrounds Convention Center, the top fundraising teams were recognized. The top fundraising company was Hopkinsville Electric System (raised over $3,300), the top team was the City of Hopkinsville (raised over $1,200), and the top walker was Brittney Newcom (raised over $1,000).
