Free Program on Preserving Family History to be Held Saturday

The Thomas-Bridges Association is sponsoring a free public program this weekend about preserving your family history.

The event will feature Penny Baucum-Fields as the speaker to share her advice and expertise as she presents some issues involved in preserving family history. Baucum-Fields is the 20-year Executive Director of the William Clark Market House Museum in Paducah. She spoke with the News Edge about the event that will take place this Saturday.

She says all are welcome to come to the event and she hopes it inspires another family to learn more about their own history.

Baucum-Fields says her goal is for everyone to have a good time while learning about the importance of family history.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be held Saturday morning, July 20th at 10:00 in the Lexie Bush Convention Center located at 303 Complex Road in Cadiz.
