Several Turn Out For Corn Soybean and Tobacco Day

Several farmers and agribusiness professionals enjoyed pleasant temperatures and sunshine as they learned about the latest research at the University of Kentucky Corn, Soybean and Tobacco Field Day in Princeton.

Among those on hand was Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, who noted the importance of land grant universities in the state.

Quarles added the research being done in Kentucky is cutting edge.

Nick Carter with the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment says this has been an interesting year, but the research in Princeton reflects what is going on in agriculture.

Those on hand learned more about wrapper tobacco, soybeans, corn and heard the latest economic forecast.
