During the meeting, magistrates approved a Memorandum of Understanding for a Justice Assistance Grant for just over $12,000 in collaboration with the city to go to the juvenile drug court. Magistrates also authorized Judge Tribble to sign an agreement and resolution for up to $80,000 regarding the Rural Secondary Program funds-box culverts.

Magistrates then went into closed session to deliberate on the future acquisition of real property, but after a 45-minute discussion when the meeting resumed Tribble announced no action was taken.

The next fiscal court meeting will be Tuesday morning, August 27, at 8:30.
