Law Enforcement Investigating Threat To Todd County School

Law enforcement is investigating a threat posted on social media involving Todd County High School Tuesday morning.

Todd County School Superintendent Edwin Oyler said school staff reported the threat immediately to the Todd County Sheriff’s Department and the Elkton Police Department after it was discovered.

The students involved in the threat have been removed from the school and questioned by school administrators and law enforcement.

Elkton police say a juvenile has been arrested and charged with terroristic threatening and is lodged at the Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Facility.

Oyler says threats like this are taken very seriously and they will be pursuing charges.

The names of the students and what kind of threat was made has not been released.
