A 21-year old man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck in Hopkins County Tuesday afternoon.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s office reports Darrell Baker of Sacramento was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Sunset Road in Hanson when 73-year old Leonard Martin, Jr. of Hanson backed his vehicle out of his driveway. Deputies say Martin’s vehicle crashed into the driver’s side of Baker’s truck, causing him to run off the road and hit a power pole. Baker was pronounced dead on the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.
