The second annual Hoptown Harvest Festival will be home to a variety of events and music for the whole family when it returns to downtown Hopkinsville next month.

Assistant Director/Downtown Renaissance Director for Community and Development Services Holly Boggess spoke with the News Edge about the events coming up September 26-28. The festival will kick off with up-and-coming country artist Stephanie Quayle performing at the Alhambra Theatre Thursday night at 7:00. Prior to the concert, Quayle will host a Meet and Greet on Fort Campbell Army installation to give tickets to soldiers, veterans, and their families.

Boggess says they will host the annual Farm-to-Table Dinner Friday night in Founders Square.

Saturday will begin with the inaugural Hoptown Half Marathon and 5K and continue with music, chili, and the Kentucky Bourbon Mashoree.

She adds details on the Military Affairs Chili Cookoff Saturday afternoon.
