Trigg Tourism Continues Planning for 2019 Ham Festival

Cadiz – Trigg County Tourist and Convention Commission met Thursday evening to discuss updates on the musical lineup for the Ham Festival, as well as the 2020 Trigg County Bicentennial.

Executive Director Bill Stevens says they have been working hard with Renaissance Director Casey Parrent and WKDZ’s Bill Booth in finalizing the performers for the Ham Festival.

Planning has also begun for a musical event in conjunction with the Bicentennial to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lake Barkley Lodge. David Miller, General Manager of Lake Barkley State Resort Park, says they are hoping to plan a music festival on the beach.

Stevens also mentioned Tourism’s co-sponsorship of the Best in Kentucky contest in Kentucky Living magazine.

Stevens says close to fifty businesses in Trigg County are planning to sell collectable pins for the Bicentennial celebration. Stevens adds Cadiz – Trigg County Tourism will have pins for sale in the future as well.
