A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning intermittent closures throughout the day Saturday for an exit ramp on the Pennyrile Parkway near Crofton.
The department reports the closures will occur on the southbound exit ramp for Exit 23 at Kentucky 800. The closure will allow for milling and paving along the ramp.
There will be several closures that could last 30 minutes or longer to facilitate the work.
Southbound motorists are urged to take an alternate route to access Crofton, including taking the Mannington exit and using U.S. 41.
