Hopkinsville Man Charged After Calling Police For A Dirty Bathroom

A Hopkinsville man was charged with harassing communications and assaulting a police officer after calling emergency dispatch for a dirty bathroom Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 71-year-old Anthony Victor called emergency dispatch multiple times because the motel staff at the American Inn would not clean the bathroom.

When officers arrived he reportedly would not tell them what was wrong and told the police to leave.

Victor allegedly swung at an officer hitting the officer before being arrested and charged with harassing communications and third-degree assault of a police officer.
