A Princeton teenager is facing charges following an incident at the Caldwell County High School in November.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that on November 22nd the School Resource Officer was notified that several students had been given a food item that contained THC by another student. He adds that the results of medical testing confirmed the food items did contain THC.

Chief King reports that the SRO then took 18-year-old Elizabeth D. Karst into custody just before eight Friday morning, charging her with second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

Karst was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
