Representative Dossett Seeking Re-Election In 2020

Ninth District State Representative Myron Dossett of Pembroke has confirmed that he will seek re-election in 2020 for another term in the Kentucky House of Representatives.

Dossett, a Republican, wants to continue representing the constituents of the Ninth District, in Christian and Hopkins County. He currently serves on the following committees: Appropriation & Revenue, Public Retirement & Finance; Agriculture; Veterans, Military Affairs & Public Protection; and chairman of the Tobacco Settlement Agreement Oversight Committee, among others.

Dossett says he looks forward to continuing to work for the citizens of Christian and Hopkins counties and to be the very best representative for his constituent’s that he can be. Dossett adds he will continue to see that our pension system is 100% funded, be a voice of support for creating jobs for both small businesses and corporations looking to locate in our community and work to see that our infrastructure and roads are maintained. He says it has been an honor to serve as Ninth District State Representative and he hopes voters will allow him to continue that service.

Dossett is a lifelong resident of Christian County and is married to Tracy Kunkel Dossett. He is the owner of D’s Auto Detailing and Clark and Dossett Rentals. Dossett previously served on the Christian County Fiscal Court and has served as the Ninth District state representative since 2006.
