A bicyclist died at the hospital after a crash with a car on Canton Street at the intersection of Wayne Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 66-year-old James Victor of Hopkinsville was riding a bike westbound on Canton Street when he was hit by a westbound car driven by 91-year-old Wade Stinson of Hopkinsville.
Stinson was reportedly attempting to pass Victor after turning onto Canton Street from Henderson Drive.
Victor was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for head injuries and flown to a Nashville hospital where he later died from the injuries.
