Flash Flood Watch Issued For Western Kentucky

The National Weather Service in Paducah all of Western Kentucky remains under a Flash Flood Watch until midnight. According to the NWS, several rounds of potentially heavy rainfall will move across the  area through Sunday evening with the heaviest rainfall over west Kentucky during the day Sunday. One to two inches of rain will be common with localized heavier amounts possible.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding, which is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
