A woman was reportedly stabbed six times during an altercation with her daughter on Cates Street in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 38-year-old Johnshawna Lamb showed up at Jennie Stuart Medical Center with multiple stab wounds to her thigh, back, and arm after an altercation with her daughter 18-year-old Makayla Paige at their home on Cates Street.
Police say there were five children in the home that witnessed the stabbing.
Lamb’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and Paige has been arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
