Activities Resumed At Temporary Christian County Senior Center Location

Nearly all of the programs with PACS Senior Center have resumed normal operation at the old Christian County Middle School on Glass Avenue in Hopkinsville after the facility was damaged by a severe storm over a week ago.

PACS Christian County Center Aging Director Rossia Schneider tells the News Edge they resumed serving hot meals at the temporary location Tuesday.

She adds most of their activities will resume at the temporary location.

The temporary location will be open weekdays from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

As we have previously reported, walkers will be able to use the Sportsplex in Hopkinsville weekdays from 8:00 AM until noon at no charge.

No additional information has been released concerning when the facility at 1402 West 7th Street will resume normal operation.
