A Dawson Springs woman was arrested on various charges, including drug charges, following a traffic stop in Hopkins County Thursday night.
Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville reports that a trooper observed a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix operating carelessly in the Earlington community just before 11:00. He adds that the trooper initiated a traffic stop and upon further investigation discovered that the driver, 26-year-old Brittany Gray, was allegedly under the influence and in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Gray was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, and various other traffic-related offenses. She was also served a warrant for unrelated offenses.
Gray was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
