Trigg County Celebrating Black History Saturday Night

February is Black History Month and Genesis Express will be hosting a special program Saturday night to showcase African American heritage.

George Radford, President of Genesis Express tells the News Edge the program will begin at 6:00 at the Trigg County High School Little Theater.

Radford says they will emphasize two things during the event, the first being ‘My Hair, My History’.

The second part of the evening will feature skits from members of Genesis Express.

Radford notes they want to make sure the younger generations understand what their ancestors went through.

For more information about Saturday night’s free program, you can contact Radford at (270) 871-1344 or any member of Genesis Express.
