A woman and child were taken to the hospital after a wreck on Pennyrile Parkway Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were called to the area for a vehicle off the roadway and found an SUV that had run off the road near the Lovers Lane exit.
When Deputies arrived the SUV drove through a fence and hit a tree before coming to a rest in a field.
Deputies say the woman was also involved in a non-injury wreck in Oak Grove on Tuesday.
The driver and her child whose names have not been released were taken by ambulance to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
