As we head into a nice looking weekend, concerns of early-week flooding are arising.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says there could be a couple snow flurries Thursday night and Friday night. He adds the weekend will feature a warm-up, with sunny skies and highs in the low 50’s Saturday, low 60’s Sunday through Wednesday, but precipitation will return.
Some of the models are beginning to indicate the area could see significant rainfall.
Powell adds after that system moves through the area, we will see another shot of cold weather, but there are hopes of spring in sight.
