Comer Opposes $3 Trillion Stimulus Package Passed By House Friday

First District Congressman James Comer spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives Friday in opposition of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s $3 trillion coronavirus stimulus package. The Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions Act, or HEROES Act includes another round of direct payments of $1,200, expands unemployment assistance, emergency grants for small businesses, and money for state and local governments.

Congressman Comer says Pelosi’s $3 trillion spending measure is “radical” and much of the measure has nothing to do with COVID-19.
