PADD To Receive Funding to Help Small Businesses

The Pennyrile Area Development District is among districts receiving funding from the CARES Act Recovery Assistance grants that will help area small businesses.

In a Thursday announcement from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the district will receive $759,000 to administer Revolving Loan Funds that will provide critical gap financing to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the region. The funding will help businesses who have been affected by COVID-19 by helping meet their short-term working capital needs.

The Pennyrile Area Development District serves Trigg, Christian, Caldwell, Hopkins, Lyon, and Todd counties. For more information about the loans, click here.
