VFW Post 1913 in Hopkinsville hosted a special ceremony to honor and remember those who died in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
Post Commander John Brame told the small crowd on hand it’s important to remember the attack that occurred 19 years ago.
Brame spoke about the deaths that occurred that day and says no matter what Americans must always stand together.
After Brame’s short remarks, the crowd on hand released balloons in honor of those who lost their lives as a result of the attack.
