Kentucky Surpasses 3,000 Total COVID-Related Deaths

Kentucky reported over 4,000 new COVID-19 cases and over 50 deaths Thursday afternoon.

Governor Andy Beshear confirmed 4,084 cases, with nearly every county in the Commonwealth reporting new cases.

The state also confirmed 51 additional deaths, raising the death toll to 3,042.

Beshear continues to urge everyone, especially business owners, to enforce mask mandates and social distancing rules.

Since the state has surpassed 3,000 total deaths, Governor Beshear said they are coming up with a way to honor them shortly.
