Christian County Public Schools has named the coordinator for the 2021 Project Graduation.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says Shawn Johnson currently serves as the Family Resource and Youth Services Center director at Christian County High School and will keep that position in addition to her new assignment as the Project Graduation coordinator.
Project Graduation began in 1978 as a drug and alcohol-free graduation event across the United States to prevent death and serious injuries stemming from graduation celebrations.
Bentzel says CCPS is proud to offer Project Graduation to high school seniors who choose to abstain from drugs and alcohol on their graduation night.
