Christian County Public School Students Picked For Governor’s Scholars Program

Seven Christian County Public School students have been selected as 2021 members of the Governor’s Scholars Program.

The district reports Luke Luttrull, Jacob Stewart, and David Woods are the Christian County High School students selected for the program. In addition, Hopkinsville High School students Grasen Givens,  Abigail Moss, Allison Wood, and William Knight were selected.

Seven alternatives were also chosen, including Christian County High students Autumn Bell and Chloe Craft, and Hopkinsville High students Mary Baker, Jada Poindexter, Preston Chaudoin, Silas Jackson, and Todd McKenzie.

The Governor’s Scholars Program strives to enhance Kentucky’s next generation of civic and economic leaders. Established in 1983, the program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience. Those selected attend free of charge.
