Flags Directed To Half-Staff In Kentucky To Remember Former VP Walter Mondale

Governor Andy Beshear directed flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor and remembrance of former Vice President Walter Mondale.

The action comes following a proclamation from the White House.

Mondale, who served under President Jimmy Carter, passed away Monday in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Governor Beshear said flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Mondale’s internment, which has not been announced.
