A Hopkinsville High School student has been awarded a Better Business Bureau Integrity Foundation – Student of Integrity Scholarship.
Officials said Averie Turner was awarded the scholarship, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and Asurion. They added Turner is one of eleven students selected in the middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky area.
Robyn Householder, President and CEO of BBB serving Middle TN and Southern KY, said, “I had the privilege of congratulating Averie and giving her feedback from the selection committee.” She added, “Students like Averie will become our future workforce leaders, and this scholarship will remind them that ethics is the foundation of our markets.”
The scholarship was established in 2005 to recognize high school students who personify high ethics and reward the future ethical business leaders in the region.
