Chief Steve Futrell and the Hopkinsville Fire Department formally recognized interdepartmental promotions and the retirement of two officers Tuesday.
Mayor Wendell Lynch was in attendance during the ceremony and mentioned the promotions during the Hopkinsville City Council meeting.
Lynch added the department also celebrated with two personnel that recently retired.
Mayor Lynch said if you see any of these individuals out in public to congratulate them and thank them for their service.
