Ruff Park will be a busy place Friday and Saturday as area youngsters race in the popular Hopkinsville Soapbox Derby.
Chandler Ladd, an organizer of the 15th annual event with the Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club, tells the News Edge they had a record 55 children sign-up to race.
Ladd adds the event will kick off Friday at 6:00 p.m. with the Super Kids Race.
The events Saturday begin at 8:00 a.m.
Ladd reminds everyone all of the races will be held at Ruff Park.
