Two Christian County Students Awarded FFA Alumni Scholarships

Earlier this year, two Christian County Public School students were presented scholarships from Christian County FFA Alumni. 

In May, $1,000 was awarded to Lucas Gamble, a Christian County High School FFA member and Nathan Morris, a Hopkinsville High School FFA member.

Gamble is a 2021 graduate of Christian County High School. He was involved in numerous Career Development Events and other opportunities through CCHS FFA, including Beef Impromptu, Parliamentary Procedure team, Kentucky FFA State Officer Nomination Committee, and serving as Chapter President. In his spare time, he is also involved in Beta and National Honor Society. His Supervised Agricultural Experience has a focus on environmental and natural resources. He will be attending Murray State University this fall to major in Agribusiness Economics. Lucas is also the recipient of an additional $1,000 Christian County FFA Alumni and Supporters Scholarship.

Morris is a 2021 graduate of Hopkinsville High School. He was also involved in numerous Career Development Events and other opportunities through HHS FFA, including Impromptu Speeches and Soil Judging. In his spare time, he had volunteered at the Salvation Army and the Lone Star Rodeo. His Supervised Agriculture Experience focused on production agriculture with a family beef cattle operation. He will be attending Murray State University this fall to major in Agriscience Technology.
