The Christian County Health Department reported a new COVID-related death Friday.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney-Brunt said the county’s 102nd COVID-19 related death was a 65-year-old African American female. Sweeney-Brunt added the last several weeks, there had been a sharp increase in COVID-19 cases in the county.
The health department offers free Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccinations every Thursday from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome.
