Woman Charged After Firing Shots During Hopkinsville Disturbance

Police have released the name of a woman that was charged after she reportedly fired shots during an altercation on Holiday Park Drive in Hopkinsville Friday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say a woman came to the home banging on the door and window when the occupant of the home  26-year-old Taja Butler retrieved a gun from her closet

Butler then reportedly came outside and fired the gun towards the woman.

Butler was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.

No one was injured in the shooting.
