Hal Fennell Memorial Antique Tractor Plow Day Set for Saturday

Now celebrating over two decades, the annual Hal Fennell Memorial Antique Tractor Plow Day will be Saturday in Christian County.

The event is hosted by Garnett Farms on Long Pond Road and sponsored by the Western Kentucky Antique Power Association. Anyone with tractors and plows manufactured before 1975 are invited to come for a full day of fun and fellowship and demonstrate the various means of plowing with farm animals and old tractors.

Seth Delany is one of the event’s founders and he says there is only one change to Saturday’s event. That involves food.

The annual event is named for Hal Fennell, who served as president of the West Kentucky Antique Power Association and was instrumental in organizing many events including the plow day. Fennell died in 2014.
