Two Trigg County High School students will help the Cadiz-Trigg County community remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, during the 27th annual march and commemoration.
Genesis Express is hosting the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day events that begin with the annual march at 10:00 at the Cadiz Renaissance stage. Trigg County High School junior Kelsey Parham will talk about Why We March. The march will proceed from the Renaissance stage to West Cadiz Park.
The Dr. Martin Luther King ceremony at the park will feature Pastor Perry Boyd leading all those participating in singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing”. Trigg County High School senior Khyran Vaughn will provide remarks for the program.
