A Lewisburg man wanted in connection to a murder on Heltsley Road in Todd County has been located in Logan County Saturday morning.
Kentucky State Police say they were called to Heltsley Road around 9 am Friday after 57-year-old Deborah McGee was found outside of a home deceased.
McGee was reportedly shot and died from her injuries. Police say after investigating the shooting they were able to get a warrant for 44-year-old David Odeal Slagle for murder in connection to MeGee’s death.
Slagle was apprehended by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office Saturday morning.
Todd County Coroner Timothy Wells says the body of Mcgee was transported to the medical examiner’s office in Madisonville for an autopsy.
Heltsley Road is located in the Clifty area off of Kentucky 181.
