Clarksville Man Charged With Attempted Burglary In Hopkinsville

A Clarksville man was charged with attempted burglary after a report of a man pointing a gun at a home on West 1st Street in Hopkinsville Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 22-year-old Christian Berrian who had pointed a rifle in a window of the home then fled the area before law enforcement arrived.

When police were called back to the home again for Berrian who was allegedly pointing a gun at the home from a vehicle they were able to locate him and his vehicle in a nearby parking lot.

Police say he was found to be in possession of a .223 caliber rifle that had been reported stolen, and a .40 caliber handgun along with marijuana. He is charged with receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, and attempted first-degree burglary
