The VFW Post 1913 in Hopkinsville is gearing up for its annual Memorial Day ceremonies.
Commander John Brame tells Your News Edge the services will take place Monday, May 29. The first service will be at 9:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, with an 11:00 AM service scheduled at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Both services will feature the same guest speaker.
Lunch will be served at VFW Post 1913 following both services at Noon, with everyone invited to attend.
Before the Memorial Day holiday, Brame says they will have a fun celebration Saturday for the Kentucky Derby.
VFW Post 1913 is at 1601 VFW Lane, near Kroger, in Hopkinsville.
