The Affordable Connectivity Program Helping Kentucky Families Afford Internet

Kentucky families can get up to $30 per month for internet services and up to $100 off a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer through the Affordable Connectivity Program.

The Kentucky Department of Education reports that over 80% of households in the state are eligible for the program.

To qualify, students must attend a school in the USDA Community Eligibility Program, the household must receive government assistance or have an income within 200% of the federal poverty level, or anyone in the household must receive a federal Lifeline benefit.
