Two Men Charged With Firing Shots On East 18th Street

Two men were charged after several shots were fired on East 18th Street at the intersection of South Virginia Street Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area just after 5 pm for a report of shots fired from a vehicle and found 5 shell casings in the roadway.

Police say the investigation led them to Grey Fox Court where they located the vehicle and arrested 19-year-old Tasean Diuguid and 19-year-old Kyan Buckner.

No one was injured in the shooting and no property was damaged.

During the investigation, several firearms were reportedly found under the back porch of the Grey Fox Court home and one had been reported stolen out of Clarksville.

They are both charged with receiving stolen property (firearm) and tampering with physical evidence. Buckner was charged with complicity to first-degree wanton endangerment and Diuguid was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
